That's the second recommendation I've had for Four Thousand Weeks in the last couple of days. I guess I'm reading that one next.

Tuesdays with M was so impacting. fifteen years earlier, I went through Mitch and Morrie's exact journey with my mum - but I'd never thought about writing about it. If I'd been older, maybe.

I follow a similar rule, Ant. If something is recommended three times, I take it as a sign to pursue it. Four Thousand Weeks is a must-read, in my opinion. I'm sorry to hear about your Mum. It's heartbreaking watching the ones we love deteriorate. I hope you were able to spend special time with her before she passed 🙏🏼

Thank you for the list of addictive fiction! First stop will be our English reading library in Patzcuaro, Mexico. Always feel like I hit the jackpot when I find one there.

Wives Like Us is such a fun read! I read it on the plane to and from the Cotswolds earlier this year... so perfect!

How appropriate! I love reading books about a place I am travelling too. I loved her other books when I was younger so was grateful this one was as good - if not better. Have you read any of her other books?

I haven't, but I might have to based on your recommendation! :)

If you do I would start with Bergdorf Blondes and The Debutante Divorcée. They were her original ones ☺️
